Deshi Bhoj sells ONLY Al-Maaedah Hand-Slaughered zabiha halal chicken.

Al-Maaedah Chickens are audited, inspected and monitored by Halal Food Service Alliance of America (HFSAA), Halal Monitoring Service (HMS), Shariah Board of New York (SBNY).

Al-Maaedah brand is well-established and highly recognized in East coast. Deshi Bhoj is the only sole provider of Al-Maaedah in West Coast.

Al-Maaedah whole chickens are approximately 3-4lb each.  

There are 10 chickens in the box, making a box total of approximately 40lb.

No. All of whole chicken, cut chicken, leg-quarters are with skin. Only skinless item is boneless skinless chicken breasts.

No. Al-Maaedah Chickens are NOT certified organic nor hard chicken. All chickens are veg-fed, hormone free, animal by-product free, individually hand-slaughtered by muslims with tasmiyah, air-chilled, contains less than 5% retained water, Pennsylvania farm raised - making them far superior than Crescent, Tahir and Rossdown.

All items are ordered using online store above. Items only ordered during order window are prepared for pick-up.

Deshi Bhoj now takes order anytime. Pickup dates are now arranged every 2 weeks. Please scroll down to see latest pick-up dates in next 30 days.

In case of minimum orders are not received during order window, projected pick-up schedule can be pushed to 1 week.

In case you cannot wait till pick-up schedule, you can request for order cancel and you will be issued full refund.

No, all bulk boxes are approximately 40lb in weight. Items are charged at 40lb rate.

Yes. During pick-up box weights are noted and a refund is issued for weight difference for any box less than 40lb. Boxes higher than 40lb are not charged anything extra. 

Pick-up location is provided during checkout.

All whole chickens are with skin and uncut. Only 8pc cut chickens are cut into 8pc with skin.

Both bulk and retail packed boneless skinless chicken breast are only skinless option

Except packet boneless skinless chicken breast which are 20lb box, all items are approximately 40lb. Due to integrity of the product we do not process boxes for small weight.

There is no store of Deshi Bhoj, it's fully online only community service

Yes. Deshi Bhoj is a national wholesaler. With a minimum order of 50 boxes, any retailers, masjid coordinators, or community leaders can order from anywhere in the 48 states in the USA and get delivered Al-Maaedah brand chicken. If minimum order quantity is not met, unfortunately Deshi Bhoj cannot deliver.

Yes, Deshi Bhoj is a wholesaler thus can supply to any restaurants and grocery stores.
